The "Stella
Maris" is a one-owner boat. She
has always been sailed in fresh water. She has never been
in an accident or hit a rock, etc. She has called the "North
Channel Yacht Club" in the beautiful North Channel
of Lake Huron her home for her entire life. She is a rugged
and stiff cruiser that needs a new owner.
This
vessel has been completely rejuvenated and upgraded (spent
approximately $ 25,000.00 in 2001 to 2003) in preparation
for retirement. There had been some moisture penetration
in the balsa core. The deck was thoroughly checked out
and any soft spots were dug out and replaced with new
balsa core, a layer of epoxy decking and
then overlaid with treadmaster (http://www.treadmaster.co.uk/original.html
